Comment: Just returned from a really relaxing weekend at this lovely campsite. Very clean and smart brand new toilet/shower block, stunning views and a fantastic sunset behind the Sugar Loaf mountain. Massive sunny pitchs, easily got our caravan, awning and car onto it and had loads of room for table, chairs, bbq etc. Owners really friendly and have big plans for the site so it can only get better. Loads to do in the area and fresh fruit from the PYO next door. We will be back soon!

Comment: I visited the camp site as part of a Duke of Edinburgh group. The facility is excellent and large enough for campers and caravans to use it with out any inconvenience to each other. The site has excellent facilities and uniquely has maintained the original vineyards that could easily have been removed. The owner is helpful and will always ensure the stay you have is of the highest quality. the quiet, remote location is perfect for children and the views are truly breathtaking. I will be arranging all future expeditions to go through the area and look forward to returning.

Comment: We recently bought a new caravan and wanted to try it out overnight and decided to book at Blossom Park. It wa an extremely pleasant stay. The park itself is set in the foothill of the Brecon Beacons with a spectacular view of the Sugarloaf. The pitches are generous and generally flat. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Despite staying just the one night we shall definitely be back for longer stays. Well done Blossom Park!!

Comment: This campsite is the best i have been to, the facilities are lovely and clean, no mess throughout the campsite. The showers were hot and powerful, and the sites for tents are spacious. We booked late, and they accommodated us with good will. Owner was very helpful, organising taxi's for our large group to get into abergavenny town twice, at cheap prices, and told us where the best place to eat breakfast. Overall, 10/10 for service, price, hospitality and atmosphere, would definitely return!

Comment: Visited the site with my young children and friends with their children and had a great week. On arrival the owner was very warm and welcoming couldn’t do enough for us, asked me to choose any pitch that we liked, and let him know if we required the grass cutting but it was fine. The site is very clean and tidy and the views are stunning. The pitches are a very good size and there was water and drainage on our pitch which was great. The electric is on a credit meter which I haven’t come across before but it was very cost effective. The toilet/shower block was extremely clean with hot water at all times. Overall my family and I were very impressed with this site we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will defiantly be returning!

Comment: I truly don't know what to say without sounding like a gusher. We have just spent Easter at the site and had the most amazing time, just twenty minutes from home. The site is immaculate, the toilet and shower facilities spotless. We have stayed at many sites over the years but have never been made to feel more welcome. The idea of the electric tokens is genius, total value for money, we ran a radio, kettle, charged Phones and used a heater all for one pound fifty something pence. The owner is a true gentleman, welcoming, warm and friendly. I have posted a glowing review on the uk campsite website, bit wanted to post here too .. Thank you for a wonderful weekend, see you at Whitsun...

Comment: What an camp site. Stunning views, clean modern facilities, large pitches, fair priced electric and a totally different outlook on what a camp site should provide. I should keep this site secret, but it deserves to be recommended. Hard work and an owner with innovative ideas means that as this new site is developed and matures with time it will set the standard for campsites. We've earmarked this site for many future visits.

Comment: nice location, lovely helpful laidback owners( maybe too laid back1) only three toliets and showers working all wk, needs a play area, and maybe stricter on noise levels we left early due too other people screeching and laughing too 3 in the morning, maybe a word in their ears would have helped!! kim

Hi Kim, thank you for the feed back.... I can assure you 100% that I went over to the the party in question at 10:15 pm and I told them to turn the music of at 10:30pm. I went back to them at 10:30pm and the music was turned off.

I then checked them at 11pm and they were quiet.

I have a sign on the reception which reads as follows. Please note for out of assistance, telephone, electric cards, late arrivals & emergencies please call at Managers Residence

The party in question will never be allowed to stay on the park again, I do wish you would have given me a call and I would have called the police and had then removed from the park. I had no idea that they started up again with the noise.

With regard to having only three toilets and showers open. The legal requirement is three toilets / showers for every 105 units. We have 90 units so we are well within our legal right to open up only three of each. Also at the time of your stay we were not at 50% capacity so I could have closed another off and still been well within our legal requirement. We always keep three locked for emergencies for example if a child floods or blocks a toilet we always have some that are functional.

Once again I'm really sorry that your stay was disturbed I just wish you had notified us and I would have rang the Police to have them removed from the park.

Comment: I stayed at this site on my own for the whole month of August and was very happy and comfortable there and it is exceptionally good value for the price. The ground is flat and well drained. I had a fesh water tap and a grey water drain on my pitch. The owner is truly helpful and does his utmost to keep his campers happy! The facilities are all new and kept clean. Some things are not quite finished yet but that did not spoil my stay. I would definitely go back there snd am more than happy to recommend this site.

Comment: Access to the site is easy. The wide entrance is just half a mile from the B4521. This is a new site. Each pitch is equipped with electric hookup and there is a tap and waste drain on every two pitches. All pitched are generous in size. The facilities block is immaculate and modern. Fire pits are allowed so it's possible to sit out around a fire and enjoy the spectacular night skies. A good value site, with very obliging owners. This is one I can see us returning to.

Comment: What a fantastic site.We stayed here May Bank holiday weekend. The pitches are reasonably priced and even though electricity is on a meter we used very little. The owners are wonderful and very welcoming - they go out of their way to accommodate you.The shower and toilet block is modern and spotlessly clean. The water in the showers was always warm. Looking forward to revisiting here in the future. All I can say is thank you for a superb weekend at your site.

Comment: Just spent 12 days on this site and although weather not wonderful we had a great time. Reluctant to write too many nice things about site incase next time we want to come it is full!! Joking apart this is a lovely site and well situated for visiting Abergavenny and the local area. The pitches are spacious and well marked, plenty of taps and electricity boxes so no need for long leads. Clean and warm toilet/shower block. Metered electricity a brilliant idea, we paid approximately 70p per night

Comment: Visited here for the first time. Stunning views of the sugarloaf mountains. Park owners were really friendly and welcoming. Lovely clean shower/toilet blocks. Ideal for a quiet weekend away. EHU was via token but we only used £1 in 2 days. Will definitely be visiting here again in the future and have already recommended to others. Fantastic site.

Comment: Had a good stay here. Shower's good but don't like the 50p method but it works. All nice and clean. Plenty of space on pitches all services close. Electric works out about £5.00 a day a little expensive and a big hike from a couple of years ago! Friendly service and helpful people. Special thanks to a very good chap who helped get my electrics working because of a dodgy trip. Sorry never got your name. Would use again when in the area. Recommended.

Mr Hale stayed with us in March it was minus 9 below.... how he used £5  I honestly do no know, the name of the gentleman who had a look at his electric problem was Mr John Hinwood  who is a park regular he used £1.25 on the same night. The present cost of electricity is  13p per kilo watt I can only surmise that there is something seriously wrong with Mr Hales electricity in his van because he should have never used this amount of electricity in one night.

Comment: Just spent our second weekend break at Blossom Park and enjoyed it once again. Brilliant idea of electricity token meters as we only used £2.20 worth in our 3 night stay. Shower/ toilet block always clean, plenty of hot water and never had to queue once to use the facilities as have had to do on other sites. Already booked our next break and looking forward to it already.

Comment: We have just had another stay at this lovely site, even though the weather turned cold we kept the van warm and only used £0.80p a day on average on electric. The meter system is so fair as long as you use it as you would your home and not waste it. I believe that all sites would benefit if the meter system was more widely used. Look forward to returning next year.

Comment: What a beautiful campsite! We stayed for two nights over the Whitsun Bank Holiday (without the children). The campsite was very clean, tidy and peaceful! Showers were perfect, I do have to admit I was worried about the timed showers (having very long hair) but it was great! The location and views are fantastic, watching the sunset behind sugarloaf was worthy of many great pictures. We cycled along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal which is closeby and worth a visit. A huge thankyou to you all for a great welcome, we thoroughly enjoyed our kiddie free break away lol!.....oh and used only 16p electric over the two nights stay....BARGAIN! Will see you all soon x

Comment: Stayed for the week at Blossom Park the owner and the gentleman in caravan 5 were great and helpful the toilets and showers were always clean and tidy the showers hot well worth the 50p charge. Its a nice quiet site and dog friendly though they have to stay on the lead there are plenty of spaces near by for them to have a run. I would not change anything at this site well done.

Comment: Fab stay , great location for walking, I understand some of the criticism ,( showers for example), but once you've had one , you get the idea. You have got to be quite picky , particular , to pick holes, if the site isn't good enough, I suspect you'll have a tough time , camping , caravaning, motorhoming . J
